The index looks at what government, society and the private sector are doing to contribute to the social transformation of ordinary citizens – a transformation desperately needed to eradicate poverty in all its forms, end discrimination and exclusion, and reduce the inequalities and vulnerabilities that leave people behind. Our assessment scores these organizations on selected key social indicators. These indicators surface high-level societal expectations of government and the private sector.
Our report presents key findings that show what government and the private sector can do to contribute to a just and equitable society. It also features good practice examples of what constitutes a just and equitable society.
